as we look to feed ourselves-taking various aspects of other human beings into our emotional voids for neurotic fulfillment-we slowly learn the cold hard fact of the situation...that being...we are left with nothing...INDEED , the pursuit of self is the pursuit of a universe made out of finite material...stuff that quickly and readily falls apart...roughly translated...the concept of "me" does not work .
then there is the transcending idea of "us"...that is to say...only in giving do we truly receive...and only in relationship with one another...do those things we attempt to define each other by...(that is , what we want to take from each other)...fall away .
the void lessons as love for another grows .
