rafa nadal...june 11 2012

...the date...this monday...i am walking down the street thinking how fantastic it is that rafa nadal won his seventh french open...suddenly...a dog begins to bark at me...i reach over the fence to give him a pat...then his "owner" comes over to greet me...i say to her..."what is your dogs name???" she replies..."rafa"...i respond..."you mean rafa as in the tennis player rafa ???" she confirms that this is indeed the rafe she named her dog after...me and the dog hang out for a while...i talk to the lady for another short bit...then i am on my way...what a strange and mysterious world we live in...next stop...wimbledon !!!
