1-fear it would lead to homosexuality / perversion
2-social norms dictate to us
3-the pope says so
4-vulnerability...in a "dog eat dog" world

why is this behavior healthy???

2-mocks social taboo...we are told wrong and right often with very poor reasoning
3-may help to resolve unmet needs

many gays are not gay...many straight people are not straight
people function more out of unmet need than real identity

religion sets up a set of arbitrary rules to define you

so we built a cage for god...and called it religion...the problem is...god escaped rather promptly and forgot to tell anyone...so all that is left is a bunch of people staring at a cage...projecting all their shit upon it : lust...greed...hypocrisy...and other such things...once i a while...these "values" are questioned by some individual or another...and a switch is flicked and the mixture changes a tad this way or that...(you know , catholic to pentecostal )...but...more or less...it all stays the same...and the people all fade into nothing...as they meditate upon just another money grubbing cold hearted institution .

there are those who truly love...there are those who are lost in the dark...then there is a third type of individual...they are the ones who taste the truth in pure love...are made for its purpose...yet...somehow...decide to go in another direction...(at least on earth)...they are the most unfortunate...and are characterized by depression...mental illness...and self righteous judgement...(though obviously are not the only people group who are afflicted by such things)...point being...it is better to have not tasted the reality and truth of pure love than it is to have then to turn your back upon it...as its memory will haunt you for the rest of your life...POINT : be careful what road you travel...the scenery may be blinding !!!

The irony is that the better someone is treated , the more violent the split . That is to say , if they have been bad to you (or you them) , all that is required is for someone to define the relationship by the inadequate behavior , and proceed to leave . However , if someone was being  ACTIVELY  loved , then there is a terrible emotional upheaval involved . Suffice to say , people don't need a good excuse to get out of a relationship , but they sure as fuck want one .

"The foootsteps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord" . And the more this light shines before you and beside you , the more easier your decision will become in regards to the future of any particular relationship . Walk in love , cognatively think of why you are staying ,why you are leaving...and make your decisions from this perspective .
